Abstract
The following four papers, though grouped under the heading of “Chemistry of the Juvenile Hormones and Juvenile Hormone Analogs”, present topics ranging from the nonspecificity and differential activity of the three molecular forms of natural JH to various methods for determination of their in vivo titers and to observations on their biosynthesis and storage. Questions of the active conformation of JH and its relevance for the design of practical, useful analogs for pest control are also addressed. The reader may well conclude that more questions are raised than are answered.
