Image Aberrations of Double Focusing Mass Spectrometers

Recently, the accuracy of doublet mass measurement has been greatly increased and the atomic masses are determined with an accuracy as small as one part in 108(1). In such a high accuracy measurement, the relative image position of the components of mass doublet should be measured with an accuracy of the same order.
