Abstract
It has been shown in Chapters 2 and 3 that the functional relationships between the nucleus neurons are disorganized and the neurons form GPEE in LGN when the inhibitory mechanisms are disturbed. A characteristic neuropathologic syndrome of photogenic epilepsy is engendered by the origin of GPEE in LGN (Kryzhanovsky et al., 1976b).
