  • G. N. Kryzhanovsky

To understand the nature and specifics of the pathologic system, its properties should be compared with the basic characteristics of the physiological system, especially with the properties of the physiological system as a functional organization which maintains and realizes the central nervous system’s integrative activity (Sherrington, 1906; Ukhtomsky, 1923–1927; Pavlov, 1923, 1927; Gellhorn, 1943; Bertalanffy, 1962; Berstein, 1966; Anokhin, 1971, 1975; Sźientágothai, Arbib, 1974).
