The British Cryogenics Council Safety Manual “A Guide to Good Practice”
In early 1964, The British Institution of Chemical Engineers set up a Working Party on Low Temperature Engineering. The description “low temperature engineering” was intended to embrace the various aspects of the design, construction, and operation of industrial equipment and processes working at temperatures below those dealt with in normal refrigeration practice.
