Physical Principles Governing Body Heat Exchange
Physiologists are taught to partition heat exchanges according to the various physical processes involved — convection, radiation etc. This approach is useful in many situations, but it has limitations which are seldom discussed and may be overlooked. This paper draws attention to some of the difficulties which may arise in the practical application of these principles.
