Abstract

Catalyst recovery and recycling in homogeneously catalyzed oxo processes are of the utmost importance from an industrial point of view, and there have been many reports concerning the Separation of the cobalt catalyst from the reaction product. For example, Moffat has attempted to fix HCo (CO)4 as solid poly-2-vinylpyridine complex [1,2].
