The Effects of Bradykinin on Single Ranvier Node of Nerve Fibres in the Frog

Abstract

Bradykinin has been found to be highly effective in producing pain when injected intraarterially or intraperitoneally in dogs and men (1–4 ), or when applied on the “cantharidin blister area” (5). The injection of bradykinin into the splenic artery evokes a discharge in the splenic—splanchnic nerve (6).
