Abstract

The concept of the expert system primarily addresses a functional definition: this is presently based on software which takes on intellectual activities in areas where human expertise is considered to be either insufficiently structured to provide a precise, reliable and complete methodology, directly transposable on to a computer, or subject to revision or addition.
