Radiation Safety of Laser Products: European and Italian Requirements
Part of the NATO ASI Series book series (NSSB, volume 252)
This chapter describes the requirements on laser safety which have been developed by the CEI-CT76 committee, in accordance with the corresponding specifications and coordination documents issued by International Institutions such as IEC and CENELEC. In the framework of the CT-76 committee, five User Guides have been prepared, according to specific laser applications:
Guide-A: material working
Guide-B: industrial, civilian and environmental uses
Guide-C: telecommunications and fiberoptics
Guide-D: medical applications
Guide-E: scientific research laboratories.
