Abstract

In reviewing considerations of medical laser systems, it becomes important to examine the factors that exist in high-tech industries. High technology has grown in an exponential rate for the past three and a half decades. In Photonics we have seen areas of technology spawn three generations within the past decade. The Medical Laser Industry has been particularly volatile and difficult to predict.
