  • Conference paper
Urolithiasis and Related Clinical Research

Abstract

Before treating patients with stones we must have epidemiological and pathophysiological data to justify the type of therapy given. Priority areas or groups should be identified. We must also take into account the intrinsic and extrinsic factors which, when combined with the abnormal excretion of one or more urinary constituents, determine the “stone risk”1.
