Vitamin D Metabolism in Hypercalciuric Patients
In many hypercalciuric patients it is impossible to determine the cause of the disorder by simple clinical procedures. Expensive and protracted investigations, such as the calcium-load test of Pak et al1, are used but with these methods there are some diagnostic problems. In this study we measured 25-OH-D and 1,25(OH)2-D to see if they would be helpful in classifying the different types of hypercalciuria.
