Abstract

The origins of psychology in Russia go back 200 years to Lomonosov’s three-components theory of color vision in 1757. The other forerunners of Russian psychology, among them Dobrolyubov, Herzen (Gertsen), and Radishtcher, represent a variety of idealistic, mentalistic, and prescientific theories.
