The first psychological laboratory in Argentina was organized by Horacio Pinero in 1898 in Buenos Aires. Wundt’s disciple, Carl Jesinghaus, settled in Buenos Aires in 1912 and a few years later Enrique Mouchet established the Institute of Psychology at the Buenos Aires University. Between 1935 and 1945 Mouchet published Anales del Instituto de Psicología de la Universidad de Buenos Aires.
