Automation in Microchemistry
This is a five-year case history involving the combined use of the Perkin-Elmer CHN analyzer Model 240, the Infotronics digital voltmeter Model 30, and the Wang calculator Model 360 with programmer. While the details to be reported here are of course explicit to the instruments just mentioned, it is hoped also that many of the ideas presented are applicable to instrumentation in general. Some of the details have been reported in Perkin-Elmer’s house organ “Instrument News” in 1968, Vol. 19, No. 1.
