Abstract

Most manufacturing enterprises are already organized to improve operations through capital investment, and productivity gains are sought continuously in well-run companies. Industrial robots are capital investments and their prime objective is productivity gain. Thus, one could presume that organizations to support robotics are in place. Why then make a special point?
