Soluble Nad+-Derivatives of High Molecular Weight in Enzymic Recycling Systems

Abstract

The quantitative turnover of many dehydrogenase reactions can be afforded in most applications only if coenzyme recycling is available. Although the immobilization of coupled coenzyme depending enzyme systems is possible (1) the reactors thus obtained are expensive and not very effective. Therefore, the concept of this work was to use membrane enclosed soluble enzymes together with soluble but non-dialysable coenzyme derivatives.
