Oxirane-Acrylic Beads, Preparation 2878-C

Abstract

By a special Rohm process (1) oxirane-acrylic beads were prepared by copolymerization of glycidylmethacrylate and/or allylglycidylether, methacrylic amide and methyhylenene-bismethacrylamide. Due to the neutral nature of these components, the matrix of the beads is electroneutral, and so is the binding mechanism via the oxirane groups.
