Immobilized Glucose-Oxidase/Catalase: Deactivation in a Differential Reactor
The immobilized enzyme system glucose-oxidase/catalase (GOD/CAT) is a three-phase system exhibiting many characteristics similar to conventional heterogeneous catalysis. The low solubility of oxygen in water at normal conditions indicates that for all practical concentrations of glucose, oxygen will be the rate limiting substrate.
