Tabulable quadratic ratio tests
We deal with tests for hypotheses concerning parameters of Γ. For instance, it is assumed that the (i, j)th element of Γ is equal to ρ|i−j| and the null hypothesis ℋ A is: ρ = 0, while the alternative hypothesis ℋ A is: ρ = ρ* >0. On the basis of an observed sample, a test is carried out to decide whether to accept ℋ 0 or to reject ℋ 0 in favour of ℋ A .
