Computer Aided Modelling of Pneumo-Hydraulic Robots

Abstract

The paper describes an algorithm for computer aided modelling of a manipulator with rigid links driven by hydraulic and pneumatic actuators. It is capable of modelling the dynamics of mechanical elements, as well as phenomena taking place in actuators, pneumatic and hydraulic back-up installations. This algorithm automatically generates relations describing generalized forces.
