Abstract

This chapter is aimed at a review of UK legislation and other constraints affecting health safety and environmental aspects associated with the manufacture of printing inks. It is not intended to set out in fine detail all the provisions of the regulations discussed but simply to highlight the existence of relevant legislation and note the provisions that impinge on the ink-maker’s art.
