Testing, Control and Analysis

Abstract

The performance of an ink relies largely upon the optimum selection of raw materials, and upon correct fabrication. Once this selection has been carried out, the continuing operational performance of that product will then depend upon the maintenance of standards, both in raw material quality and manufacturing. The extreme value of testing and controlling raw materials and finished inks is thus apparent, and it is proposed to examine this area in the detail that is necessitated by its importance.
