Abstract
Eight circular panels in gilt and patinated metal around a porcelain light-bulb mount comprise the structure of this rare chandelier by Carlo Bugatti. Its tasselled fringes recall his interest in Arab culture, evidence of the search for fresh artistic influences for a new century.
