Hazardous (Classified) Locations: Area Classification
The processing and storage of flammable gases and vapors are essential to the operation of most chemical processes. If these flammables leak or escape from piping, vessels, or other parts of the process, they can be ignited by any sparks or hot surfaces that may be in the flammable air mixture. The resulting fire and explosion can be catastrophic.
