Product Weighing

Product weighing is one of the most important aspects of food product manufacturing. It is an essential element of any plant’s quality control procedures, and can be an important cost saving measure by minimizing overage. Weighing is also a labor intensive procedure in many plants. Two typical weighing operations are shown in Figure 1.
