Abstract

This book investigates the ways in which we can use computers for design and layout planning. There is little prospect of fully-automatic design by computer and perhaps we should be thankful for that. Therefore we will always have to pick and choose areas in which computers will be employed. Conversely, we need to know where to avoid applying them.
