Project Control and Quality Assurance

  • Stanley Port

Control procedures are reviewed in this chapter. These can be applied both to assist in the planning of projects and in the monitoring of their progress. It is by these means that the quality of the design work can be more assured. Among the procedures are design cost control and the maintenance of registers of design documents (i.e. drawing sheets, schedules, etc.). These document registers can, if required, be extended to provide a simple means of monitoring job work-in-progress.
