A Mathematical Model for Drill Point Geometry

An adequate mathematical representation to describe the drill point configuration is needed for the analysis and design of drill geometry. Based on the mathematical models, a drill point grinding machine can then be built to produce various desired drill geometries accurately with high repeatability.
