Abstract

In Part 5 of ISO IS 8613, the ODA standard defines two datastream formats (external representations) that may be used to interchange ODA documents between systems. ODIF (Office Document Interchange Format) is an inter-change format that is defined in accordance with the ASN.1 standards [31, 32]. ODL (Office Document Language) is a format that allows an ODA document to be represented in SGML [33]. Routines for dealing with ODIF are described in section 20.1 and ODL, which is unsupported, is described in section 20.2.
