Performance Evaluation of Communication Services in CIM Environments

Abstract

Communication services provide a supposition for manufacturing automation. They follow in general on base local area networks using standard protocol proposals in CIM environments (MAP or TOP e.g.). For performance evaluation modelling investigations are performed. The foundation forms a three-layer-model. By using Norton’s theorem decomposition methods are applied (equivalence networks, isolation techniques etc.). Por support the analyzing tool LANEX is developed.
