Distributed Message Exchange System Modelling

In the paper some aspects o-f the process cooperation in a distributed operating system are discussed. The concept of a communication protocol between the nodes o-f the system is presented. The algorithm o-f the cooperation between the system nodes is modelled by means of Petri nets. As a hardware facility supporting an inter-node communication, standard RS adapters are assumed.
