Generalized Solution for Constant-Density Flow with Losses

Abstract

It is true that constant-density flow with losses can be handled completely by the Darcy equation (5) and the general energy equation (3). However, for the sake of completeness, and to allow comparisons between compressible and constant-density solutions, and because of the symmetry of the solutions, we present in this chapter a brief review of a generalized solution for this type of flow.
