Liquid-Solid 4He Interface: Equilibrium Shape and Exitations

Abstract

In the past decade, extensive studies, both theoretical and experimental, are made on the phenomena occurring at the phase boundary between solid and liquid 4He. The neighbourhood of a quantum crystal with a superfluid quantum liquid makes the properties of the interface very unusual.
