Abstract

The purpose of the present study was to estimate the effects of a 5 day pretreatraent with trimetazidine on the production, the nature and the fate of oxygen free radicals in isolated perfused rat hearts, submitted to an ischemia-reperfusion procedure, using PBN as a spin-trap.
