Momentum Dependent Potentials in Relativistic Heavy Ion Collisions
A major goal in the study of relativistic heavy ion collisions is to measure the nuclear equation of state (EOS). The interpretation of the experimental data such as the transverse flow are based on simulations of the Boltzmann equation, which combine the nuclear mean field and individual nucleon-nucleon collisions as dynamical input. It has been found that most observables are affected by both ingredients1,2.
