Preparation of Superconducting Y-Ba-Cu-O Thin Films on Metallic Substrates

Abstract

The YBCO thin films have been prepared on metallic substrates by the rf magnetron sputtering. Sputtered thin films have strongly oriented c-axis. After proper annealing, YBCO thin films with Tc,zero = 82K were obtained. Also, the magnetic field dependence and the strain dependence of the critical current density for YBCO thin films were investigated.
