Application of Stochastic Transport Theory to the Determination of the Statistical Descriptors Used in Noise Analysis

In this paper we develop the theory of the covariance and cross correlation between two detectors, when delayed neutrons are considered, and we extend this previous theory to the calculation of the Cross-Power-Spectral-Density. This paper includes also the single mode approximation and the reduction to a lumped parameter model. Finally we develop calculable methods and we apply them to the interpretation of neutron noise experimental data.
