Optimization of Mouse IgG Fragmentation Technique in the Selection of Monoclonal Antibodies for Myocardial Infarct Imaging
Irreversible ischemic injury of cardiac myocytes in infarction results in loss of cell membrane integrity, leakage of intracellular enzymes, and release of myosin fragments. Three monoclonal antibodies selected for their high affinity for human ventricular myosin heavy chains (Leger et al., 1985) are chosen for their cross-reactivity (95%) with canine myosin.
