Translational and Nontranslational Mechanisms of Regulation by Eukaryotic Suppressor Mutants

Abstract

Much of the work described in this chapter stems from an interest in understanding the mechanism by which suppressor mutants in Drosophila restore function to mutant alleles. This research has been approached through transcriptional, translational, and posttranslational models, and all these approaches are included in this presentation.
