Lipid Saturation by Catalytic Hydrogenation and Its Effect on Membrane Structure and Function

  • Laszlo Vigh

Our understanding of molecular organization of plant cell membranes and its relationship to various functions has undergone considerable advances in recent years. The progress in this subject was due to a great extent to refinement of modification techniques, applied to alter the lipid constituents of membrane systems.
