Immunoassays Based on Conformational Restriction of the Enzyme Label Induced by the Antibody

We describe here an approach to separation-free enzyme immunoassays based on the ability of specific antibodies to ligands to restrict the conformational mobility of an apoenzyme that has already been labeled with that ligand, to fold into a catalytically active conformation.
