Abstract

The availability of hybridoma tissue culture lines secreting monoclonal antibodies (MAb’s) of pre-defined specificity opens new possibilities for altering Ab structure in vitro and creating molecules with novel properties. We have used three different approaches to modify a given IgM anti-trinitrophenyl (TNP) MAb, secreted by the hybridoma line Sp6.
