The Effects of Inequality on Psychology
Why should psychiatrists be concerned with equality? We are not accustomed to including inequality as a determinant of psychic well- or ill-being. We tend to think on other levels, e.g., the intrapsychic or the biological, and in so doing, assume that we are dealing with universal factors.
