Basic Amorphography

Abstract

An account is presented of the quantification of amorphous network structures. Experimental techniques for the investigation of such structures are discussed and it is demonstrated that modern instrumentation is capable of providing highly accurate structural data. The greatest barrier to progress lies in the generation of structural models which can reproduce these data within their known experimental uncertainties.
