Abstract
Commerce depends on the exchange of signed paper documents. Now that the information in these documents can be stored digitally and retrieved easily and quickly anywhere in the world, the way is open to speedier and more accurate ‘paperwork’ but this must have all the reputed attributes of the signed paper documents. There are three such attributes.
