Time Dependance of 3H Hematoporphyrin Derivative Distribution in the Digestive Tract in the Rat

Abstract

Application of Laser irradiation with Hematoporphyrin Derivative to the destruction of digestive tumors in the humans require preliminary studies of the method in animals. The HPD distribution is to be determined in normal tissues and in digestive cancers. Thereafter if HPD levels are higher in the digestive tumor than in normal tissues, this method would be safe.
