Non-Linear Fabry-Perot Transmission in a CdHgTe Etalon

We extend our study of large nonlinear refractive index changes in CdHgTe to investigate intensity dependent transmission through an etalon. The results provide strong support for a theoretical model which takes into account the dominant Auger recombination process and predicts a refractive index change of -3.3 × 10-3 I1/3 (W/cm2).
