Turbulence and 1/f Noise in Quantum Optics

  • F. T. Arecchi

Generalized multestability and chaotic behavior are observed in several quantum optical systems. Inducing jumps between independent attractors leads to a low frequency power spectrum of 1/f type. Experiments and theory are here presented.
